The idea was tossed my way by means of Spaghetti016 for my 7777 page view. I tried a few different little things with this, especially testing out some new lighting effects.
I messed around with Link, borrowing his design heavily from the ooooold Nintendo Power comic made back when Link to the Past came out on the SNES. The Master Sword design is a little closer to Ocarina of Time's, and I am VERY happy with how it turned out.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Let me know what you think!

Oh geez I just saw your staind glass deviation. It looked so good here I assumed it was the official one you borrowed for the sneak peak. So you get +500 points of coolness for that, looks faaantastic!
I need new pants now. Time well spent my friend. The staind glass is beautiful. The sword is spot on, and you definatly kept the feel of the old school Link.

Hmmm... I remember that magazine! Link was the firs anime character that I ever drew... when I was in the fifth grade.. I made a comic where he saved a pregnant woman...
Whoops, S-sorry about ... back to the comment ><
I have to agree with the other comments... the ligting is beautiful! And I love the stained glass... But the arms jump out at me a little, mainly the one holding the sword... which is a tough angle to draw from >< But! The picture still looks great.. so... no worries^^

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This is YOUR opportunity to mock, ridicule and generally take great delight and amusement whilst poking fun at the beloved Volunteers and Staff of deviantART.
